Now, with just a few seconds and two mouse clicks, we can be flooded with billions of hours of images of sexy women being fucked in all kinds of sick and beautiful ways. It is truly the best time to be alive.

But pornography, of course, is not something that the Internet has brought about. Pornography has existed for as long as there have been movies. If you include erotic literature, it has an even longer history. But one of the new things the Internet has made possible is a vast archive of amateur pornography that would never have been seen without the Web. We can see thousands and thousands of homemade sex tapes that would have remained shared in secret between the couple who made them (and a few lucky friends) if it weren't for the Internet.

Between iCloud leaks, revenge porn, and the many sites that encourage users to participate and upload their own content, we get a lot of satisfaction from amateur pornography. Of course, there are sites like Porn Hub that focus primarily on professional studio clips and more "traditional" porn, but offer users the ability to become lightweight porn stars in their own way. More appealing, however, are sites that provide a platform and encourage users to become part of the industry.

Faking it to Star in Porn

There are several sites based on this model, and it is always exciting to come across new ones... And that brings us to tv.fakings.com, a site that is quite popular with "follatelos. "The Fakings Network is dedicated to providing the world with top-notch amateur pornography, and they do it in a different way than many other porn sites. Whereas many other sites aggregate and index links to handmade and amateur content found elsewhere on the web, or allow users to add videos to their profiles for other members to enjoy, Fakings directly encourages them to participate. And the best part is that they pay for it.

Okay, I guess this is basically the same idea as any porn studio. But it's not: because Fakings specializes in amateur porn, it doesn't have the same selective selection as premium pay sites, and your chances of getting paid to fuck in a movie are exponentially higher. Additionally, Fakings will fully cover your production costs if you pass the initial actor screening.

Many similar operations, if you are approved, will give you a chance to audition, but they will leave you to cover the cost of the actress's time and performance, camera, location, etc. Plus, with 3,000 new amateur videos being uploaded every month, theoretically the site will continue to expand until the end of time and porn will never run out (and neither will your great-great-great-great-grandchildren). Well, that is if humanity survives that long. Even if we don't, the alien paleontologists who eventually come to Earth and find traces of civilization will have plenty of porn to tell us about our species, and whatever weird Martian fakings may help them.

But faking is not all orgasms and good times, and I was disappointed to learn that you have to be a VIP member to see the full videos on their site. That's fair enough, but ...... I guess I have to pay for these amateur porn stars somehow, I guess. On the other hand, they also advertise, so they could probably cover their costs with ad revenue (although I don't know if membership would eliminate the ads).

But then comes the "blue balls"...

But if you don't become a member, you will be left with a lot of 1-5 minute videos. Occasionally, I come across a video that plays in full, but this is too rare an occurrence for me. On a site like this, I would expect more free videos, especially given the fact that they collect advertising revenue. Or at least longer previews.

The previews are not that great, nor do they show anything exciting. The girls stay clothed almost to the end. What is the point of such a thing? If I wanted to see a girl in decent, attractive clothes, I would just go to Starbucks or something.

Another thing about this site is that most of the actresses on Fakings are only moderately attractive at best. And the quality of the filming is not always high. But frankly, I've seen better quality amateur porn from users who upload content to Porn Hub for free, and I'm not willing to pay for what Fakings is offering.

As for the site design, some are better, some are worse. The site is fairly easy to navigate and fairly intuitive. It is a bit cluttered than I typically see and I think it could benefit from the idea of embracing negative space a bit more. In addition, hovering the mouse over the video thumbnails doesn't show a preview (nor does the slideshow), which is a given at this point when coding a porn site, don't you think?

In addition to that, the site has pretty poor advertising, which I am not too impressed with. At least not on the site itself. The content is okay (and could be a lot better, due to the fact that you have to pay to see most of it), the design of the site could be improved, and there should be more useful and interesting features (for example, this site is really more suited to the community aspect ), I just don't see it, but that's what this site does.
