Rarecord

Rarecord takes a somewhat risqué approach to branding with a name that doesn't immediately bring boobs and humps to mind; even if you've never visited ThePornDude, it's not hard to imagine what the buzz is around here. Rarecord, on the other hand, may be a completely SFW site by the sound of it. But you know I won't be writing anything family-friendly around here, and with a title that combines Rare and Record, I can see record addicts dropping by thinking they can get some vintage LPs to spin on their old-school hipster stereo equipment! It's easy to see why. But imagine the surprise of such people when they find a dirty movie.

But honestly, I could see this movie going viral, in which case Rarecord might join the lexicon of dirty proper nouns like xHamster, ImLive, and Brazzers. None of them seem inherently dirty, but these brands have become well-known enough that we now know exactly what kind of dirty stuff they are selling, and Rarecord.io has a growing archive of Chaturbate recordings. That is, a free library of pre-recorded, previously live webcam sex shows, a new site operating under a domain that was only registered a month ago but is already getting thousands of visitors a day. Let's take a look at some of these "wankers" and see how they "wank".

Exploring Chaturbate's records

At the top of the home page, Rarecord reveals what it sells and gives simple instructions for exploring Chaturbate Records. There is also a search bar for entering favorite models and tags, which we will return to later. While the overall presentation is fairly simple and streamlined, they have made the joints look nice. I like their diamond shaped logo and the color scheme and smooth gradient in the word Chaturbate.

Like most free porn archives, most of the front page is devoted to thumbnails of recent videos. The content of these thumbnails immediately reveals the focus of the site, even if you are illiterate and cannot read the text on the front page. While the typical tube thumbnails are mostly video screenshots or moving gifs, the thumbnails here are a wall of little smut themselves. Each thumbnail shows 16 snapshots taken from the camshow in question.

As webcam fans no doubt already know, the quality of individual shows can vary all over the damn place. Many of the smaller sites are full of bored girls waiting in their bedrooms, fully clothed and sometimes a little grumpy; Chaturbate is one of the better spots to catch cam action, thanks to the fucking massive user base of camwhores and fans. However, a random cross-section of the site is all about softcore striptease and skanky stories in underwear.

This is one of the reasons I really liked what I saw on the front page of Rarecord. I'm not sure exactly which camgirls to follow, but there is a lot of action going on around here. There's some stripping and solo masturbation shows, but there are also quite a few full-blown sex scenes, including group activities. In a recent upload, a girl in a little red dress is sucking two penises, one on each side of her head; I've also seen a four-person video by a Chaturbate couple who call themselves Jackandjill.

What rare codes are they hunting?

I have reviewed several different sites that archive pre-recorded webcam shows, and one of the usual weak links I have found is the lack of tagging. I believe this is the result of the archive being generated automatically, as computers do not tag shows as humans would when they record and upload them. Therefore, searching through these libraries can be a nightmare, not only a headache, but also a pain in the blue balls.

Rarecord.io is tagged quite appropriately for a cam library. I tried several search terms in this box and they all returned numbers. There are currently 63 ASMR movies, hundreds of threesomes, 900 cosplay cam shows, and nearly 9,000 tagged with FEET. I like that the search engine breaks down the results and shows me the total number of camgirls with that word in their user name, as well as other tags that contain the word I entered (for example, my Feet search also showed me the total number of Feets, Barefeet, and Bigfeet results).

The only problem I had was that I couldn't actually click through to see the collection of such materials. I even turned off the adblocker and tried again, thinking that the plugin was interfering with the interface as it does with other sites. I believe this is a temporary glitch and not too uncommon with new sites like this one. They obviously have the infrastructure for a much better organized cam archive than I have seen before.

The glitch also extends to searching for models. The search engine tells me that there are 82 Jackandjill videos on Rarecord, and a search on io doesn't turn up much. Fortunately, the search function on the models page works well, and I was soon able to get to the Rarecord selection for this couple. Currently, there are over 16,000 webcam models listed, but given the ridiculously fast growth rate of this site, by the time you take a look for yourself, this number will be much larger.

That's a lot of Rarecord.

As I review Rarecord.io, I regularly return to the front page of the site. Each time you do, you will see something new. New updates are being added to the library constantly. In the last 10 minutes alone, six new movies have been added, sometimes within seconds. It is a very insane and impressive rate of growth, to say the least.

Some of you may have done the math in your heads. There are already 16,000 models on the site, and if they are adding material this quickly, the archive must be huge, right? Actually, it's bigger than we expected. The domain is only a month old, but the collection has actually been building for a little longer than that and is apparently getting ready to launch.

The only problem is that the search seems to be limited to 200 pages. It only shows 4800 listings, even the newest and most popular ones. I know that Rarecord has tens of thousands of Chaturbate videos because of the sheer number of performers, most of whom have multiple videos. However, we do not have access to that full list. It is good to see content tagged in this area. Because we need tags to dig through the mountain.

But you don't have to dig that far to find the good stuff. Back on the home page, we decided to do the official fap test with the latest video that was just added a few minutes ago: a 24-minute show by a couple who call themselves Kristel_jack from Chaturbate. Preview images show clean legs, cock-fucking, and doggie-style batting, so we knew we were in for a treat even before we clicked play.

Rarecord.io is a bit spammy, so I had to turn my adblocker back on halfway through. This is not uncommon with sites like this and is not a deal-breaker for anyone. The ads are all over the place, which is a fair deal for access to this free fap stuff.

My only real complaint about this site seems to be a minor glitch that I hope they fix soon. The search engine certainly looks nice, but it doesn't work as well as it should, and I wish they would adjust the settings to show 200+ pages of material. I don't want to see content disappear down the memory hole when the whole idea of this site is to archive ephemeral webcam performance.

Rarecord.io is a winner in my book. The fact that this webcam archive actually tags content should be a big draw for masturbators who prefer certain types of content. Plus, the ever-growing pile of free pornography is a wonderful way to waste an afternoon and get some sperm on your keyboard.
